Waste soil and excavated material removed and disposed of properly. We supply the wagons, arrange the tip and leave the site clean. No mess left behind.

We're based in the Forest of Dean and cover Gloucestershire, Monmouthshire, South Wales, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and the Bristol area. Not sure if we cover you? Call Craig directly. If it's within reason, we'll come.

Are you CHAS registered and accredited? +

Yes. CM Contracting is CHAS registered, EUSR registered, holds NPORS operator qualifications and carries Street Works certification. We work to the required standards for private homeowners, developers, housing associations and local authorities.

Do you work for private homeowners? +

Yes. We work for private homeowners, self-builders, developers, housing associations and local authorities. Whether it's a dropped kerb for your driveway or groundworks for a full new build, we'll give you a straight quote and get the job done properly.

What does groundworks include? +

Groundworks covers all the below-ground and preparatory work before a build begins: excavation, site clearance, foundations, drainage, concrete bases, and hardcore sub-bases. We can also carry out muckaway (removing excavated material), dropped kerbs, and civil works as part of a wider groundworks package.

Can you install a dropped kerb? +

Yes. We handle dropped kerb installations from start to finish, including council applications where required. All work is done to highway standards: neat, flush and built to last. Call Craig to discuss your specific requirements.

Do you offer plant hire? +

Yes. Machinery and plant is available for hire with or without an operator. Excavators, dumpers and more. Call Craig to discuss what you need, when you need it, and whether you need an NPORS-qualified operator on site.

How long has CM Contracting been trading? +

Craig has over 20 years of hands-on experience in groundworks and building. CM Contracting is a small, experienced team. You deal directly with Craig on every job, not a project manager you've never met.
